Sacre Bleu - French General

from $8.00

With ‘Sacre Bleu’ French General has gone back to the early French blues. Sacre Bleu, sacred blue or holy blue has been the the classic colour of France since the 15th century. Religion and politics both have claimed this colour to be the colour of courage.

This collection of blues is inspired by French General’s summers in France and dyeing their antique white linen scraps into a beautiful shade of Woad blue.

This latest fabric range features three of French General’s favourite blues: French Blue, Woad Blue and Indigo.  They have also woven in a bit of Ciel Bleu for a subtle play of colours.

100% Cotton  112 cm / 44 inches wide

Fabric is cut in 25cm units - e.g., 4 units equals 1 metre. If more than one unit is ordered the fabric will be cut in one continuous length.

By purchasing from this range, you are receiving a quality fabric by an outstanding surface pattern designer supplied from an Australian fabric distributor and a rural business owned solely by women. Thank you for supporting our small business.
